James Norbert Ivanyi is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, educator and proudly independent
solo touring musician hailing from Sydney, Australia. After completing his music degree at
The Australian Institute Of Music he further honed his abilities producing records and
touring for a diverse range of artists before focusing his attention on a solo instrumental
career that officially launched in late 2013.
Since that time, he has released five critically acclaimed independent solo albums under his
own name. ‘Aphasia’, ‘The Matter Circumvention’, ‘The Usurper’ and ‘Denalavis’ respectively –
with the first full-length since 2017 ‘Omen Faustum’ released on October 20th, 2020 which
was hugely successful and many have considered it his finest electric guitar based work to date.
On April 5th, 2022 James surprised the industry with the full-length acoustic guitar record ‘Sigil’.
This album was also a huge success and a testament to his ever expanding palette of abilities.
James is also an officially registered artist with Jam Track Central, the world’s premier guitar
educational platform that features video courses exclusively from the world’s leading players.
To date James has released two successful courses titled ‘Signature Progressive Phrases’
& ‘Dark Progressive Riffs’ respectfully.
