Kieran Johnston

My name is Kieran Johnston, I’m 22 years old and I’ve played guitar for the past 12 years. I’m self-taught and had no music training or lessons on guitar up until college, where I went to study Music Performance for a couple years. I dropped out before completing my degree so I could focus more on my band Perpetua, as I needed the time for touring etc.

I play a whole lot of different styles, such as blues, neo-classical, jazz fusion, metal and rock. My biggest influences are Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Gary Moore, Nuno Bettencourt and Greg Howe.
